A little fact for those who don't know- in the Philippines, the fourth of July is also known as Filipino-American Friendship Day. This stems from the fact that, after WWII, the Americans liberated us from the Japanese on July 4, giving us complete independence. This day was our Independence Day for a while, until Former President Diosdado Macapagal changed it to June 12... the original day we declared ourselves independent from the Spanish. He did, however, made July 4 Fil-Am Day, so... yeah. ^^;
